EPS Controls is pleased to accept tax-exempt orders from eligible customers in accordance with applicable state and federal tax laws.

Tax exemption is available to organizations that have a valid tax-exempt certificate issued by the appropriate state or federal authority. This typically includes:

  • Nonprofit organizations
  • Resale businesses with valid resale certificates
  • Other qualified tax-exempt entities

How to Submit Your Tax Exempt Certificate

To make a tax-exempt purchase, please follow these steps:

  1. Provide a valid tax-exempt certificate: Email a copy of your current tax-exempt certificate to info@epscontrols.com before placing your order.
  2. Verify your status: Our team will review your certificate to confirm eligibility.
  3. Place your order: Once approved, you can place your order without paying sales tax.
  4. Keep records: We reserve the right to request your certificate again for verification purposes at any time.

Important Notes

  • Tax exemption applies only to items purchased for the exempt purpose listed on your certificate.
  • If a tax-exempt certificate is not provided or is invalid, sales tax will be applied to your order.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their certificate is current and valid.
  • Any misuse or fraudulent use of tax exemption status may result in legal penalties.
  • Sales tax cannot be refunded or credited once an order has been placed. If you make a purchase before submitting your certificate, tax will be charged and is non-refundable.
