How to Submit Your Tax Exempt Certificate
To make a tax-exempt purchase, please follow these steps:
- Provide a valid tax-exempt certificate: Email a copy of your current tax-exempt certificate to info@epscontrols.com before placing your order.
- Verify your status: Our team will review your certificate to confirm eligibility.
- Place your order: Once approved, you can place your order without paying sales tax.
- Keep records: We reserve the right to request your certificate again for verification purposes at any time.
Important Notes
- Tax exemption applies only to items purchased for the exempt purpose listed on your certificate.
- If a tax-exempt certificate is not provided or is invalid, sales tax will be applied to your order.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure their certificate is current and valid.
- Any misuse or fraudulent use of tax exemption status may result in legal penalties.
- Sales tax cannot be refunded or credited once an order has been placed. If you make a purchase before submitting your certificate, tax will be charged and is non-refundable.
